Introduction

This document provides brief descriptions for the different content types in the IWS system. In the following sections, we will outline the different categories of content types and provide a high level overview and examples that would trigger these content types, should they be enabled.

The examples and descriptions given are not an exhaustive list of what IWS will block and serve as a general description of what would trigger the content types when enabled.

IWS has the paradigm of “Content Types”, which refer to a set of rules responses are not allowed to violate. These rules can either be custom made, or pre-made by Infotect Security. The Content Types listed below are out-of-the-box sets of rules that are generally enough for most use cases.
